A Bollywood film's success cements the relationship between a filmmaker and an actor which repeats their cycle of collaborations for future projects. This cycle clogs the scope for experimenting newcomers in the industry. Bollywood is synonymous to this cycle, which runs for the sake of legacy.

After the blockbuster success of Sanju, Ranbir Kapoor and Rajkumar Hirani's firm relationship have led them to ink a special pact that will have the former in the latter's every film. Before the making of Sanju, which broke the box office records of Prabhas' Baahubali: The Conclusion and Aamir Khan's Dangal, Ranbir Kapoor played a cameo in Rajkumar Hirani's PK. The actor was seen as an alien in the climax scene of the movie.

According to a leading entertainment portal, Ranbir Kapoor will feature in Rajkumar Hirani's every film either as a lead or as a cameo.

Although, it was reported that Ranbir has replaced Arshad Warsi in the third installment of Munnabhai, a source close to the development refuted such rumours and stated to the leading daily, "Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi will always be Munna Bhai and Circuit. Some writer somewhere got excited about the idea of having Hirani and Ranbir work together again after Sanju, and he decided, on their behalf, that they would be doing Munna Bhai together. The truth is, there is no script ready for the next Munna Bhai film yet. Writer Abhijat Joshi has been asked to work on it, but he's yet to crack a subject."

Adding further, the source stated that Hirani is keen to collaborate with Ranbir but for another project. "But not Munna Bhai. That will be with Dutt and Warsi only," said the source.

Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor's next is currently in the pipeline, which includes Yash Raj Film's Shamshera and Karan Johar's trilogy Brahmastra starring Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan.
