Raees was said to be based on criminal Abdul Latif's life, though the filmmakers deny this, so Shah Rukh Khan randomly chooses to visit Delhi in the local style. King Khan decided to pay a little visit to his fans by traveling in the train, August Kranti Express on Monday and reached the next day. Hundreds of his fans were present on the platform just so that they could get a glimpse of the superstar.
Raees star decided to waved his fan wherever the train halted for few minutes, but nothing was calmed when he reached Vadodara railway station last night. A commotion took place where Farid Khan Sherani, a local politician lost his life due as he suffered a heart attack, reports Press Trust of India (PTI).

When Shah Rukh Khan reached Delhi he interacted with the media and reacted on the incident that took place. The Dear Zindagi star gave a statement to Asian News International (ANI) by saying, “It's unfortunate, my prayers are with the family of the deceased.
The star was also asked what made him choose the local locomotive to promote his most recent film, Raees. He answered by saying, “I wanted to cover all cities in minimum time, so decided to travel by train. Also, I had not traveled in Indian Railways since a long time.
