It looks like 2019 is going to be a blissful year from Salman Khan. He is currently wrapping up the shoot Ali Abbas Zaffar's ‘Bharat' alongside Katrina Kaif. Once the shoot in completed Bollywood's bhaijaan will be back to reprise the role of his iconic ‘Chulbul Pandey.'

Confirming the news to Mumbai Mirror, Arbaaz was quoted saying, "Yes, Dabangg 3 will go on the floors in April; however we are still contemplating the locations. At this point, all that I can say that the film features Salman Khan in lead and will be directed by Prabhudeva,"


While Dabangg was directed by Abhinav Kashyap; Arbaaz Khan had stepped in as the director for Dabangg 2 and now Prabhudeva has been roped in to direct Salman Khan in Dabangg 3


Ever since news was out of a Dabangg 3; speculations were being made about the plot of the film. While some say the movie is based on the real life of a Noida cop while some have been assuming that the film is a remake. 


When asked Arbaaz about what really will be the plot of the film; the actor-producer-director said," I have been reading a lot about 'Dabangg 3' on the social media, some say it is a remake, some say it is inspired by real-life incident, some say it is set in Noida. At present, I would like to maintain some secrecy around it."


Prabhudeva has previously collaborated with Salman Khan for the 2009 ‘Wanted'; and the film was a game changer in Salman Khan's life, and it won't be wrong to say that ‘Wanted' pumped in a new life in Salman's career. 


Though there is no confirmation about who the female lead will be; fans are hoping for Sonakshi Sinha to reprise her character of ‘Rajjo' in the film. Currently Salman is wrapping up the shot of ‘Bharat' which is an adaptation to the Korean film, Ode To My Father; a film that speards across several decades. The film also stars Disha Patni and Sunil Grover in pivotal roles apart of the lead pair of Salman and Katrina. 


Meanwhile, Sona has just wrapped up the shooting for ‘Kalank' alongside Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in critical roles.


Well, the ‘Dabangg' fans are most certainly in for a big treat with just the confirmation of the film.
