Speaking about his character in the film; Pankaj was quoted saying," I am having a lot of fun while shooting for the film. Janhvi is a very sincere and well-behaved actress. She respects me a lot and I too respect her for the sincerity and commitment towards her work."

The film; directed by debutant Sharan Sharma, and produced by Dharma Productions, the film is based on the life of the first female Indian Air Force (IAF) combat pilot and also the first female recipient of the Shaurya Chakra, Gunjan Saxena, who played a significant role in picking the injured soldiers during the 1999 Kargil War.

Further speaking about the efforts that Tripathi had to put for his character of Anuj Saxena, the ‘Stree' actor said," Sharan has researched a lot so most of the required information was available to us. Meeting Mr. Saxena was a great experience. I won't be imitating him in the film as for me, it's important to get the essence of the man right."

"It's an important story that needs to be told. When Sharan narrated the script to me, I immediately agreed to be a part of it. My role is integral to the story and I found a human connect which is an important criterion for me to sign a film," the actor further revealed.
