Janhvi Kapoor after her debut with ‘Dhadak,' is currently busy filming in Lucknow for her upcoming film which is based on Indian Air Force's first female combat pilot Gunjan Saxena. The film also stars actor Pankaj Tripathi, who will play the role of her father in the movie.

Pankaj Tripathi in his recent interview was all praises for Janhvi Kapoor and her acting skills. He said, "I am playing the role of Janhvi's father in the film. Janhvi is an amazing actress. She is very serious about her work. These young actors of today are very hard-working. They work on every scene. I share a very good bond with her."

And even though the two are currently shooting in Lucknow, they leave no stone unturned as they make the most of their time in that city. He also revealed how Janhvi has explored the whole city and keeps suggesting various different delicacies to eat. The film is helmed by Sharan Sharma and it also stars Angad Bedi in a pivotal role.

Previously even Janhvi Kapoor in an interview revealed that she has great respect for Pankaj. She had also revealed an incident where she called Pankaj Tripathi icecream. She revealed that Pankaj was pointing out the similarities between acting and cooking mutton to which Janhvi joined the conversation and said, "Sir, par aap toh ice cream ho, aap sabko pasand ho," and that statement award her a look from the actor. She further stated, "He probably thinks I am a creep, but yes I feel he is a legendary actor and there is no one like Pankaj sir. I couldn't hold back and immediately expressed my fondness for him."

Apart from Gunjan Saxena biopic, Janhvi Kapoor will also be seen in Karan Johar's period drama titled Takht which also stars Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor, and Bhumi Pednekar. She will also work with Rajkummar Rao in a horror-comedy titled Rooh-Afza.
