Circumventing Bollywood career to teeter on the brink of failure hinges on making the right choice which is the primary principle to make a career of an actor; ruling out the same can even break a career of an actor. Bollywood has witnessed many such precedents that support the phenomenon.

Earlier, it was reported that Sara Ali Khan would be working with father Saif Ali Khan for Nitin Kakkar's directorial, which is pivoted on the father-daughter relationship.

A source said to a leading daily, "The father-daughter drama was supposed to roll out in March 2019. They were talking about shooting it in London and Mumbai. Though Saif and Sara had not signed the contract, they had agreed verbally. The team was also looking out for an older heroine to play Sara's mother."

However, reports suggest that the film has been shelved, owing to her preference for another project. The source revealed, "Sara walked out of the film. She has given her dates to another project."

Since the film would have marked the first collaboration of father Saif with his daughter Sara on the screen, source claim that Saif who was keen to explore his fatherly relationship with daughter Sara for reel might too step out of the project. Reportedly, Saif might be seen in Anurag Basu's Life In A Metro 2.

Informing the same, the source said, "Saif was keen on doing the film only because it had Sara as the leading lady. Although it's a great script, he, too, is reconsidering the offer."

Apparently, Sara Ali Khan has picked up Hindi Medium sequel instead of Nitin Kakkar's directorial. About the same, the source continued, "After Irrfan fell sick, the sequel was put on hold. But recently, producer Dinesh Vijan and director Homi Adajania narrated the script to Irrfan, who's on the road to recovery. The actor has liked the idea and the makers are expected to begin the shoot sometime next year. Since the sequel will have a time lapse of 10 years, Sara, who was the original choice, is right for it."

Well, whether or not Sara's decision to drop Nitin Kakkar's directorial with Saif Ali Khan will carve a niche for herself in Bollywood only time can tell.

Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan will be debuting opposite Ranveer Singh in Simmba, helmed by Rohit Shetty. She will also be seen in Kedarnath, which has been delayed for 2019 release.
