After battling the monstrous disease for more than a year now Irrfan is back in the town and we can't be more happy about it. We already cannot wait to see him gleam on the silver screen. The actor is all set to resume his shoot for Hindi Medium 2.

Global star Irrfan Khan, sent a shock wave across the country when he revealed the news of his cancer last year. Soon after social media was flooded with good wishes for the actor. The actor had left the country last year for his treatment in London. Meanwhile, Irrfan was seen in movies like Blackmail Karwaan and Puzzle. But, Speculations were rife that whether Irrfan would make it to the big screen once again. 

According to reports, after battling the monstrous disease for more than a year now Irrfan is back in the town and we can't be more happy about it. We already cannot wait to see him gleam on the silver screen. The actor is all set to resume his shoot for Hindi Medium 2. 

"Hindi Medium is going on floors on February 22. Costume Designers have already started looking for Irrfan's outfits. The leading lady is yet to be decided, "a source was quoted as saying to a news portal.  

Recently, rumour mills were rife that Kareena Kapoor Khan has been approached for Hindi Medium 2 co-starring Irrfan Khan. However, Kareena is yet to give her nod. 

The first installment of Hindi Medium starring Irrfan Khan and Pakistani actress Saba Qamar was directed by Saket Chaudhary.
While the actor was undergoing treatment for a rare disease called a neuroendocrine tumour. in London, he took to social media to share heartfelt poetry with his fans and friends. His post garnered a lot of attention from people who prayed for his speedy recovery.

Speaking about the disease taking a toll on his life, the actor said, "It has put me in a rapture state. Initially I was shaken. I didn't know. I was very, very vulnerable. But slowly, there is another way to look at things that is much more powerful and much more productive and much more healthy and I just want people to believe that nature is much more trustworthy and one must trust that."
