Remaking a film without perturbing the beauty of its original is significantly challenging. Bollywood remakes of Hollywood films have had their flaws and victory, but none has yet managed to outperform the original.

Another Hollywood film to go for a Bollywood makeover is Kill Bill. According to the latest reports, the Uma Thurman starrer, produced by Quentin Tarantino will return with its Bollywood version after fourteen years of the original release. A leading tabloid reports that Nikhil Dwivedi's production house has bought the rights for the two part series.

A source close to Nikhil Dwivedi confirmed the news. Kill Bill revolves around a deadly woman who vows to take vengeance on a team of assassins, after they attempt to kill her and her unborn child. The film had minted $ 180 million during its release in the year 2003. The sequel to the movie too had turned out to be a commercial success like its predecessors.

Meanwhile, Nikhil Dwivedi's last release Veere Di Wedding which starred Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and ShikhaTalsania was critically acclaimed and commercially successful. The film was co produced by Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor.

The film had its share of controversies too before its release. The name of the movie was found similar to that of Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda's Veerey Ki Wedding. Moreover, Veere Di Wedding was banned in Pakistan for its abusive dialogues and sexuality. After the film's commercial success, the makers of the film are planning to return with its sequel. The cast for the same is yet to be finalized.
