Mission Mangal's team recently released a fun song from the film, Tota Udd, and it was a funny number which paid tribute to the achievements of the scientists, due to whom the mission was made possible. The song features Akshay Kumar and all the other actresses except Taapsee Pannu. A source recently told a leading daily that Taapsee Pannu was not seen in the song as she was busy with the promotion of her film Game Over. It was difficult for her to cast out dates for the shoot of the song.

Talking about Mission Mangal, it seems to be doing brilliantly at the box-office. It has made Rs 29.16 crore, which was second to Salman Khan's Bharat that made Rs 41.50 crore on its opening day. This year surely seems like a great year at the box-office for Taapsee Pannu. Featuring in Sujoy Ghosh's Badla which was a low budget film, went on to make Rs 100 crores. Even her film Game Over recovered its money. And her recent film Mission Mangal should entre the Rs 100 crore club by the weekend.

On the work front, Taapsee will next be seen in Saand Ki Aankh, a film that is based on the world's oldest sharpshooters Chandro and Prakashi Tomar, where she will be seen alongside Bhumi Pednekar. In a previous interview, Taapsee spoke about why she decided to do the film. She said, "When I do a film I relate to one thing in a character to start off but here there is not a single thing I can relate to. My age, background, the language is not similar, I am not fond of shooting as well. Everything is alien to me. But it is a beautiful script that touched my heart and I couldn't say no to it. If this film works then people will remember us for life or maybe they will laugh at us." Helmed by debutante director Tushar Hiranandani and produced by Reliance Entertainment, Anurag Kashyap and Nidhi Parmar, Saand Ki Aankh will hit theatres on 25th October 2019.
