Fatima Sana Sheikh; the actor who is often still referred to as the Dangal girl, rose to fame post the success of the film that starred Sanya Malhotra and Aamir Khan along with Sakshi Tanwar.

Recently; while speaking to Mumbai Mirror, Fatima spoke up the newest topic of concern of Bollywood, the #MeToo movement. The actress was quoted saying," I don't want to expose that side of my life... I'm dealing with it, speaking to people I'm close to. Just like I won't judge those who want to share their horror stories, I expect not to be judged for not sharing mine."

Ever since; a can of worms has been opened and many dirty secrets of the tinsel town began tumbling and many names cropped up; when people found courage and began opening up about their horror stories at the hands of industry biggies like Alok Nath, Vikas Bahl, Rajkumar Hirani, Kailash Kher, and Anu Malik to name a few!

However; there still are many people who choose to keep mum about their sufferings and one of them is Fatima. And yet on the contrary; Fatima spoke about the drastic change that the movement has bought in the attitude of predators towards women.

Speaking about the same; Fatima said," Now sexual predators are scared of being shamed in public and shunned by the industry. For so many years we had normalized assault to such an extent that women had come to accept abuse as something that was normal."

Post the humongous success of Dangal; Fatima was seen in the multi-starrer, Thugs of Hindostan alongside Bollywood's best stars, Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan. The film tanked miserably and was considered one of the biggest flops of Bollywood so far.

On being prodded if she regrets her decision of signing the film; Fatima said," Why would I not do a film like Thugs? I still don't consider it a setback to my career. I would like to take full responsibility for that. You can be sure that we tried our level best. There are people who have liked the film a lot and we would like to thank them. We are happy that they liked the film but that's a minority. Majority of the people did not like the film and we are aware of the fact. So there is no doubt that we did go wrong. I want to apologize to the viewers who came to watch my film in the theatres as I was not able to entertain them despite trying my best."

On the professional front; the actress will next be seen opposite Saif Ali Khan in Bhoot Police and is also a part of the sequel to 2007 hit film Life in a... Metro!
