Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will once again reunite on the silver screen for Kabir Khan's 83 marking their fourth projecting together. Not only that but the exciting part is that Deepika is also co-producing the film

Deepika Padukone in a previous interview had a complain, wherein she stated that he and Ranveer Singh have never had a happy ending in any film that they worked in together. They both die in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela and Bajirao Mastani, while in Padmaavat the couple were at opposite ends. But that's all in the past.

The couple is all set to pair alongside each other in Kabir Khan's '83. A source revealed to an entertainment portal, "Deepika has been locked for Kabir Khan's next film '83. The film that revolves around India's 1983 World Cup victory, will primarily focus on Kapil Dev's story. The film has an ensemble cast being lead by Ranveer and now, DP to has given her go ahead to the film."

Deepika will not just have a special appearance or a cameo but will actually have a full-fledged role. She will play the role of Kapil's wife Romi Bhatia who was also a pageant winner. the source revealed that she had actually left the stadium after India began losing the wickets at the World Cup. But soon when she heard that the Indian team was on the verge of winning the World Cup, she hurried back to the stadium. The source stated, "That part is extremely dramatic. Also, the film will delve into the relationship between the husband and wife, their love story."

Deepika will not only be seen starring in '83 but is also reported to be co-producing it along with Kabir himself, in collaboration with Madhu Mantena and Vishnu Induri and will be presented by Reliance Entertainment.
