As digitization is revolutionizing the content viewing experience of the masses, the boom has certainly opened the doors of opportunities for the unheard and unseen talents across the world. The creative expression of people seems no bounds owing to the breakaway from the conventional merits of television and films. The advent of digitization is certainly digging the reserves of talents across the world.


According to the reports, India's first digital dance show titled The Dance Project is all set to stream on Sony Music India's official YouTube channel which will air from November 23.


The show will comprise of 12 episodes that will include artists from Bollywood, television and YouTube platforms.


Commenting about the same, Head Digital Business and New Initiatives, Sony Music India, Jay Mehta said to a leading news agency, "Our thought was to present our extensive song library with a new sound and create bite-sized dance content for quick consumption on the go. We found no better partners in YouTube for the same."


Adding further, he said, "We are extremely thrilled to be working with them to create a property that has not been done before in India. With the biggest names in the dance industry, we are confident that the property will become a go to for all dance enthusiasts."


The episode will feature four dance performances by a Bollywood dance celebrity, television dance celebrity, YouTube dance celebrity and a collaborative performance of television and YouTube dance celebrities.


The first episode of The Dance Project will feature dance performances of actress Elli Avram, dance group Wild Ripperz and dancers Faisal and Vaishnavi.
