Indian music has evolved over the years with legacies carried over. After Aadesh Shrivastava, his son Avitesh Shrivastava is all set to debut in music with his single titled Main Hua Tera, helmed by Remo D'Souza. Apart from singing, the singer and composer will also feature in the music video.

After graduating from the Hollywood academy in Los Angeles, he got credited for his performance with T-Pain and French Montana.

Avitesh has also been an assistant director for Shoojit Sircar's Piku and Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon, besides working for Amitabh Bachchan's talk show Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi.

"Initially ‘Main Hua Tera' was supposed to be an English song and while in the US, I worked on it with Justin Bieber's producer Gemini. Back in India, I played it for Remo sir who suggested we make it in Hinglish. So, I reworked it with writer Kunal Verma and sent the scratch to Grammy Award-winning producer Giorgio Tuinfort," said Avitesh to a leading tabloid. He revealed that he had to shoot the video before his mother and actress Vijayta Pandit. "It was a proud moment for me, my father had been waiting for this day," he added.

While he was trained under his father Aadesh Shrivastava for his singing, Avitesh learnt acting under his mother's tutelage. "I got the best of both worlds," he said. Furthermore, the singer and composer revealed that he has been offered films for acting as well. Avitesh said, "Remo sir has discussed a film with me. I'm pondering on the right break. Meanwhile, there's this single but I don't intend to give playback for other actors at the moment."
