Experimentation of disparate characters irrespective of its weightage delineates a true actor. Indian cinema has witnessed the evolution of actors who are constantly reinventing themselves by unconfining themselves from experimentation.

After playing the positive role in Veere Di Wedding, Sumeet Vyas has been roped in to play a negative role in Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy starrer Made In China.

About the character, Sumeet said to a leading tabloid, "Let's just say he's not nice. As an artist I was getting too comfortable playing different versions of myself. I had to break out of this zone and the choices I've made this year reflect that. Every now and then, a certain emotion takes over your mind as an artist and the films I watch, the books I read, the stories I write are all essentially going through that funnel of mood."

Adding further, he commented about his excitement to work with the team of Made In China, he said, "I'm super excited to work with Rajkummar, he's one of the most committed actors I've seen in a long time. But I'm equally excited to work with Maddock films, their spread of scripts are mouthwatering and Mikhil and his team! Mikhil's energy is very inspiring. I think he's going to be one of the most sought after directors very soon."

Besides Rajkummar Rao, Sumeet Vyas and Mouni Roy, Made In China will also feature Boman Irani and Amyra Dastur in pivotal roles. The film will hit the theatre screens next year on August 15.
