After debuting in Yash Raj Film's Ishaqzaade, Arjun Kapoor featured in his dad Boney Kapoor's film Tevar, which garnered average box office numbers. Arjun Kapoor had then starred in Boney Kapoor's film for the first time. Recent reports in a leading Indian magazine suggest that Arjun Kapoor is reuniting with father Boney Kapoor for another film.

The film is supposedly to be a remake of the south film, wherein Arjun Kapoor will play the lead. The rights of the same have been bought by Boney Kapoor.

Talking about collaborating with his father Boney Kapoor again, Arjun said to a leading Indian daily, "We will definitely be working together and there are no two ways about it. Of late, I've been busy doing my film while he was releasing his production venture (Mom), so we have actually not caught up properly. Then, he went for a holiday. Now, I have got into the prep for Dibakar (Banerjee; film-maker) sir's film. But that thought is there, so let it happen organically. I would like to believe that I am here (in the industry) for a long time so, whenever I get the correct film, I will do it. That might happen next year, or take six months or even one-and-a-half years. It's just a matter of finding the correct material and director."

Meanwhile, Arjun Kapoor has wrapped up the shooting of Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. He is currently occupied with the shoot of Namaste England. Besides these films, he will also be featured in the lead role of an intelligence officer in Rajkumar Gupta's India's Most Wanted and Ashutosh Gowariker's Panipat.
