Ananya Panday who recently made her debut in Bollywood with Karan Johar's Student of The Year 2 alongside Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria, along with winning hearts for her performance, was also seen caught up in a lot of controversies. She witnessed the not-so-glamorous side of her job after she was called a product of nepotism and also after being dragged down for faking her admission into US universities.

Ananya recently took to her Instagram to share a video where she announced her brand's new initiative to stop cyberbullying, on Social media day. The actress in the video opened up about the nasty, personal comments that she has been subjected to on a daily basis on social media.

She in the video talks about how people say, 'You're flying on your father's money', 'A product of nepotism with no brains' and 'You need implants' among many others. She also talks about social media bullies and how it has impacted her. She realised that not only her or celebrities that face this but many other teenagers and young minds too fall prey to the social media negativity. She also revealed that according to Forbes, India ranks the highest with 37 per cent of youth being bullied on social media.

She in the video further states, "Why make social media a dumping ground for hate?", "Why be so negative?" She with her new initiative as 'So Positive,' will help young minds tackle social media bullying. Check out her entire video:

Many celebs including Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, director Punit Malhotra and more praised Ananya for her new initiative, ‘So Positive.' Karan took to his social media and said, "Say no to cyber bullying! Say yes to positivity." Varun wrote, "Spread the positivity." Punit Malhotra also took to his handle and praised the actress saying, "Go @ananyapanday." Mallika Dua posted, "a digital social responsibility initiative to combat social media bullying. Much Bloody. Needed. Good on you @ananyapanday."

Even Athiya Shetty wrote, "Say no to cyberbullying! congratulations Ananya Panday such a powerful initiative." Dia Mirza also praised Ananya and wrote, "So positive and important effort by Ananya Panday to comfort cyberbullying."

On the work front, Ananya will next be seen in Pati Patni Aur Woh, which is a remake of the ‘70s classic of the same name, along with Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar.
