The #MeToo has caught the entire Bollywood industry on fire. With shocking revelations out of the closet, many celebrities have been facing the wrath of the movement that has the potential to bring positive changes in the society.

After Sacred Games actress Elnaaz Nourozi accused Vipul Shah of sexual harassment, the filmmaker has been muted to react over the same. Amidst the hullabaloo of the movement, reports state that Vipul Shah is planning to make a sequel of Singh Is Kinng which had starred Akshay Kumar in 2008.

About the same, a trade source revealed to a leading tabloid, "He is currently in London. The next project from his stable will be the Singh Is Kinng sequel, which will see him reunite with director Anees Bazmee. The director is expected to begin work soon. They are keen to have Akshay reprise his role, but the cast is yet to be locked. Vipul is also working on another film that he intends to direct."

However, Akshay Kumar is highly unlikely to collaborate with the filmmaker again for the sequel. Talking about the same, the source close to the actor said, "Akshay's next is Good News backed by Karan Johar. Given his stand on the #MeToo movement, he might forgo any of Shah's film offers till he is proven innocent."

Earlier, it was reported that Ranveer Singh might star in the spin-off of the film; however, the project couldn't take off as Ranveer had locked his dates for 83.

About the possibility of the sequel, director Anees Bazmee informed, "It would be great to work with Vipul again. But there's nothing in the near future. There is no script in place."
