Alia Bhatt is one actress who has impressed the audicance's and critics time and again with her power packed performances right from her debut in Student of the Year to Highway to Raazi and then to Gully Boy. And yet; Bhatt has been at the receiving end of her contemporary Kangana Ranaut, who called Alia's performance in Gully Boy nothing but "mediocre."

However; Alia's last outing, Karan Johar's magnum opus, Kalank, failed to make its presence felt at the box office and with the audiences alike. And now; breaking her silence on Kangana's opinion about her acting skills and the lack of success of Kalank, the Raazi actress says that the audicance's verdict is all that matters to her.

During her interaction with the media at the Critics Choice Awards; Alia was quoted saying," I'm not going to analyze my film because that is something not required. Audience verdict is the biggest proof for a film and when the audience does not accept a film then it should not do well. That's just the way it is. We should accept it, come back, try and make sure they're not disappointed next time."

Also for those living under the rock; Kangana's sister, Rangoli, had recently accused Alia's father and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt of hurling a shoe at Kangana during the premier of her film, Woh Lamhe

Speaking about the same; the Udta Punjab actress says with a smile," If I am mature then my family is 10 times more mature and stronger than I am. I don't want to get into this. I just want to be happy, positive, work hard, and be a better version of myself every day. I should not pay attention to what people are saying. Everyone has a right to say and what they want to say. I'll remain quiet and this is my stand."

On the professional front; Bhatt has her kitty extemrly full with Ayan Mukherjee's Brahmastra, SS Rajamouli's RRR, Sadak 2 with her father Mahesh Bhatt and another Karan Johar film, Takht
