Anndd Kangana Ranaut is at it again! The Manikarnika actress has launched yet another round of attacks at Alia Bhatt and this time around; it is for Bhatt's "mediocre" performance in the much loved Gully Boy!

While the Fashion actress was giving an interview recently; her performance in Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, was compared to that of Alia Bhatt in Gully Boy. Reacting sharply to the comparison; Kangana was quoted saying," I am embarrassed. What is there to beat in Gully Boy Performance? Same snappy muh phat girl. Bollywood's idea of a fiery girl, woman empowerment and good acting, spare me this embarrassment, please. Media has taken filmy kids love too far. Stop pampering mediocre work or else bar will never be raised."

And now; Alia Bhatt has a very sassy response to Kangana's opinion of her acting. The Highway actress in her reply to Kangana said," I respect Kangana's work a lot and I respect her opinion. If she feels a particular way she must have reason to feel that way. I would rather remember how much she had praised me after watching Raazi. And I'd just like to focus on my work. Maybe she will appreciate me again if I work hard enough."

While Gully Boy was a smashing hit; Manikarnika too fared decently well at the box office, however it failed to connect with the masses and critics like Gully Boy did! Eventually; Manikarnika was met with mixed responses from the audiances.

On the professional front; Alia has her kitty full to the rim with her gearing up for the release of Karan Johar's magum opus Takht. She also is prepping for Ayan Mukherjee's Bramhastra alongside beau Ranbir Kapoor, S S Rajamoulis RRR and the sequel to her father's super hit Sadak!

While Kangana on the other hand; has her hands full with Mental Hai Kya, Panga and the biopic on political supremo Jayalaitha in the making!
