Akshay Kumar reacts on Mission Mangal's clash with John Abraham's Batla House

Akshay Kumar who will be seen playing the role of a senior scientist in Mission Mangal talks about his film's clash with John Abraham's Batla House. Here's what he said

Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho which was scheduled for release on 15th August along with Mission Mangal and Batla House averted the clash and will now be released on August 30. But John Abraham and Akshay Kumar are all set to lock horns with their respective releases.

While at the trailer launch of Mission Mangal Akshay was asked about the clash, and he said the same thing that John Abraham said when he was asked about it, "Make some noise for the Desi Boys." Now, this is not the first time these two will be seen battling it out at the box office. Akshay and John's respective films Satyameva Jayate and Gold released on Independence Day last year.

When John was asked about the clash of his and Akshay's film, he said, "Akshay and I are dear friends. In fact, day before yesterday we messaged each other, and there is absolutely no problem. We are just releasing two films on the same day. There is a lot of space and audience is getting to choose from the best. I can say that film is really good." Further talking about the box office success, he said, "Content is the hit formula of a film. If the content is good, the film will be successful. If it is bad, the film will not run. I can wear a uniform in a bad film but it will not run."

Akshay's character is Mission Mangal is inspired by by the group of Indian Space Research Organisation, who worked on the Mars Orbiter Mission. While Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari, Taapsee Pannu and Sharman Joshi will also be seen in key roles.
