Bhuj: The Pride of India, which is a directorial debut of Abhishek Dudhaiya is made up of an incredible cast one which includes Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Parineeti Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha, Rana Daggubati and Ammy Virk. The film is based on a true story and Ajay will be seen essaying the role of Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, who was in charge of the Bhuj airport, while the Indo-Pak was at war in 1971.

Sanjay Dutt has already commenced shooting for the film in Hyderabad on June 25, 2019, and was later joined by Sonakshi at Ramoji Film City. Sanjay Dutt will be seen playing the role of a civilian, while Sonakshi will essay the role of a social worker. They will now be joined by Ajay, who will start filming with them on July 11, 2019.

A source told an entertainment portal, "He begins his portions with Sanju on July 11 in Hyderabad. After that, Ajay will fly to Gujarat where a major chunk will be shot with him." Even Bhushan in an interview previously stated, "Sanjay and Ajay's characters are powerful and are the force behind the story. The audience will see them together in a different avatar."

Talking about Parineeti Chopra and Ammy Virk, the source stated, "Parineeti will join the shoot in a couple of months and Ammy will start in September. It's an ensemble film spearheaded by Ajay and every character plays a pivotal role in taking the story forward." This film will also reunite Ajay and Sanjay who was last seen working together in Son of Sardaar in 2012. The film will be produced by Bhushan Kumar along with Ginny Khanuja, Vajir Singh and Kumar Mangat.
