Actor Ajay Devgn feels that the present generation of moviegoers isn't loyal to a particular star and he considers himself lucky to have enjoyed the support of viewers in the last 25 years. In a recent media interaction, Ajay talked about how the dynamics of filmmaking have changed over the years. "We have been lucky that a segment of the public has been loyal to us for the past 25 years. So we have that plus point. But otherwise, they will only go and watch the film that they feel they'll understand," he said. He went on to say that in earlier years, stars used to have a certain aura which is disappearing fast these days. Due to the amount of exposure these days, Ajay feels that there is absolutely no mystery associated with a star.

The actor recalled the time when he was just starting out in Bollywood and there were no ego clashes between actors but that is not the case today. He further said that he has worked with actors like Salman and Aamir earlier but at the time no one was insecure of the other actor. Ajay also thinks that audience today has a difficult to please attitude which is a motivator for filmmakers and producers to make better content. The actor is currently awaiting the release of two of his films, 'Baadshaho' which reunited him with director Milan Luthria, and 'Golmaal Again' which reunites him with director Rohit Shetty after a gap of few years.
