After creating surreal magic on screen with their subtle romance in ‘Guru'; Abhishekh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had the audicance's longing to see them create the magic again. And all hopes were pinned on Anurag Kashyap's production venture ‘Gulab Jamun'; that would see the real life couple play a reel life couple after a very long time.

And we would like to bring to your notice; that as per a report in Pinkvilla the power couple has opted out of the film for reasons best known to them. Gulab Jamun was going to be directed by Sarvesh Mewara, who also is the writer of the film.

As per some sources, the couple had heard the story more than a year back but confirmed the news only after the success of ‘Manmarziyaan'. In an earlier interview; Aishwarya had confirmed the news saying," AB and I have agreed to do Gulab Jamun. I told AB that he needs to decide what he wants to do after Manmarziyan. We had agreed on the idea then. However, it was around the same time that AB decided to take a time-out. After the hiatus, he returned with Manmarziyan, which coincidentally is directed by Anurag Kashyap. That's when the chatter around Gulab Jamun began again, and we finally came on board. It is a beautiful script, and we fit the narrative perfectly."

However, it is now being said that the couple has walked out of the film owing to creative differences on the script. A certain source close to the process has said," While things were being worked out, the two seem to have had a change of mind. And now they have decided to not be a part of this movie." Another source has revealed that the couple has already conveyed their decision to the makers of the film.

Gulab Jamun was to go on floors sometime this month and was to be produced by Anurag Kashyap and backed by Madhu Mantena and Reliance Entertainment.

Well, looks like fans will have to wait a little more to see the ‘Raavan' jodi to make another onscreen appearance. ‘Gulab Jamun' would see the couple together after a hiatus of 8 years.
