Actress Sonakshi Sinha is currently looking forward to a response to her latest film ‘Ittefaq' which released in theatres this weekend. In a recent media interaction, the actress was asked about the third instalment of the Dabangg franchise and Salman Khan as well. "Whatever I am today is because of Dabangg and because of the faith Salman Khan showed in me. Rajjo (her character from Dabangg) will always be part of Dabangg even if it means somewhere in the background (I will do it)," she said. Sonakshi went on to say that the film will go on floors next year and it remains to be seen which new actors will join the franchise.

The actress was earlier criticized for doing male-centric films but her script choices have proved otherwise. She has done films like Akira and Noor where she was the main focus of the film. Sonakshi's latest film ‘Ittefaq' features her sharing screen space with actors Akshaye Khanna and Sidharth Malhotra. The film is a remake of a 1969 film of the same name directed by Yash Chopra. Ittefaq is a mystery thriller and is one of the most interesting projects to come out of the film industry in a while. The film ‘Ittefaq' has taken a decent opening at the box office and the weekend will tell if the film will be a success or not. Sonakshi hasn't signed any other projects after Ittefaq and it remains to be seen which films she will choose other than Dabangg 3.
