Padmaavat

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Padmaavat received many praised from both the audiences and critics alike. Ranveer Singh's role as Alauddin Khilji was in fact termed iconic. But, did you know the role was initially offered to Ajay Devgn? However, due to the date issues the role later went on to Ranveer Singh. 

Bajirao Mastani

According to reports, Ajay Devgn was initially offered the role of Ranveer Singh in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's periodic drama Bajirao Mastani. However, the Raid actor rejected the movie as the terms and conditions including dates and money were not approved. The role later went to Ranveer Singh. 

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai still remains every millennials favourite with girls crushing hard on Shah Rukh Khan. And, now we cannot even imagine someone else playing the role of Rahul. But, did you know the role was earlier offered to Ajay Devgn. According to reports, Ajay walked out of the project for the reasons best known to him. The film later went on to become a blockbuster.

Karan Arjun

As per reports, before Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn was approached to play the role in Rakesh Roshan's iconic movie Karan Arjun. However, Ajay rejected the film due to creative differences with Rakesh Roshan. The movie went on to become a huge hit at the box-office. 

Darr

Did you realise all the haunting roles were earlier offered to Ajay Devgn all thanks to his expressive eyes. Similarly, in the 90s, Yash Chopra was eager to cast Ajay for the role of Rahul in the film Darr. However, Ajay was busy shooting for one of his movies in Ooty. The role then went to Shah Rukh Khan. Darr is still considered to be one of the best films of Shah Rukh Khan.
