With singers like Dhinchak Pooja and Taher Shah gaining so much of popularity we know what our dadi meant when she said ‘ghor kalyug hai yeh’! So, who’s new on this list? Well, you wouldn’t believe it, but it is none other than Amruta Fadnavis, the wife of honourable Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis. The first lady of Maharashtra (Is that even a word) but yeah, she launched her first cover song recently and God!!! At some point we felt like telling sorry to Youtube and even T-series for having to support this. But our biggest Sorry goes to Shri Amitabh Bachchan. Yes, surprise surprise! Amitabh Bachchan is in the video too! Yes, that too wearing hot red pants in the first half of the video. The song starts with Amruta elongating every possible word in the song. Normally what you would pronounce as “Khidki pe aayi Hai” is pronounced as “Khidki Pe Aaaaaaayeeeah hai”. Her lip sync game is so strong that you can end up playing dumb charades with it and in fact even win it! Yes, just looking at the video one can make out what she is singing without even listening to the audio (Jadoo! much?) Soon enough we get to know Amitabh Bachchan is not happy with this “aaayeah” singing and wants Amruta to even dance. The reply to this is epic. “Yes But Mera Style Thoda Indian Hai” while the reply was normal, the way she said it with the best poker face available in the world was epic!

And guess what? This impressed Megastar Amitabh Bachchan to the level you can’t imagine. And this impression of herself on Mr. Bachchan made Amruta so happy that soon enough she was seen having hallucinations. We understand fandom but imagining yourself with someone of your father’s age seriously?

The song ended with Amitabh Bachchan giving a standing ovation to Amruta Fadnavis. Probably for the fact that just like us he too was finally happy that the song was now ultimately over!
