Bollywwod actress Sonakshi Sinha auctions Paintings for noble cause

Sonakshi Sinha, who has always worked for noble causes has once again auctioned her own paintings for a social cause. She will donate funds to breast cancer patients.

There is no doubt that Sonakshi Sinha is a great artist, but not many know that the actress also paints in her free time. Time and again the actress has proved her painting skills. Even on the sets of her debut venture Dabangg the actress would take tips for painting from Salman Khan. The actress recently auctioned her paintings to raise funds and will donate the funds for the noble cause of breast cancer patients. This was the first time that Sonakshi revealed her work in the public domain. Salman Khan has always been encouraging Sonakshi, to take up painting seriously. Hence, she has seriously worked on a few artworks. She always wanted to do something for a cause and it was then decided that she would auction her paintings which was something that she was attached to. The actress feels that she is doing something worthy as they are her own personal works. Talking about it, Sonakshi Sinha said, "I have been painting for a while now. I am still very attached to them and have been contemplating the next step for a while now. So when I was asked to donate something from which the proceeds would go towards a cause like breast cancer, I thought why not my painting? It feels great when you can make a difference with your talent and I feel like my art has found its purpose." On the professional front the actress has four projects lined up in a slew. There's A.R. Murugadoss's Akira, John Abraham's Force 2, Vipul Shah's Namastey England and Amrita Pritam's Biopic.
