Bollywood reacts to #SurgicalStrike2; here’s Who said What

Several Indian celebrities took to their Twitter handles to laud the Indian Air Force and the #SurgicalStrike2 began to trend, with celebrities thanking the Government and the Indian Air Force pilots for their bravery and efforts following the air strike by the IAF on the JeM camps on the LoC.

Within 12 days of the gruesome Pulwama attack; the Jaish-e-Mohammad(JeM), received an extremely befitting reply in the wee hours of today, with 12 Mirage 2000 Fighter Jets dropping 1000kg's of bombs on the training centers of the JeM. Reports also claim that the attack has left as many as 300 terrorists dead.


Soon after the news broke out, several Indian celebrities took to Twitter to laud the Indian Air Force and the #SurgicalStrike2 began to trend, with celebrities thanking the Government and the Indian Air Force pilots for their bravery and efforts.


Actors such as Ajay Devgan, Abhishek Bachchan, Vivek Oberoi, Salman Khan, Varun Dhawan and many more have come out to show their support to the IAF and have appreciated the treatment given to those who have shamelessly and cruelly taken the lives of innocent and unexpecting CRPF jawans in Pulwama, in Kashmir.


Bollywood veteran Paresh Rawal; who is an active politician of the BJP from Ahmedabad took to his Twitter account to thank the Government and the Indian Air Force's for their gift to the country by teaching a lesson to those who mess with the country.


Jai Ho actor and Bollywood megastar Salman Khan took to his Twitter handle to say," Respect @IAF_MCC Indian Air Force... Jai ho !!!"



In a statement to an entertainment portal; Manikarnika actress Kangana Ranaut too was quoted saying," We salute Indian Air Force for striking back like true heroes, and thank Honourable Prime Minister for taking decisive actions, our fight against terrorism has begun, message is clear, jo bhi buri nazar se iss desh ko dekhega uski aankhein nochle jayengi... Jai Hind."



Khiladi Akshay Kumar; who has won our hearts a million times with his patriotic films like Baby, Airlift, Holiday and many more shared a powerful tweet that read," Proud of our #IndianAirForce fighters for destroying terror camps. अंदर घुस के मारो ! Quiet no more! #IndiaStrikesBack" 


Joining the array of actors who have come out in solitude; Total Dhamal actor Ajay Devgan tweet's," Mess with the best, die like the rest. Salute #[email protected]" Abhishek Bachchan too shared a crisp yet touching message through his Twitter account, that read," Namaskar Karte Hain" in Hindi.



The ‘Josh' in the industry runs High with several other industry folks taking to their respective social media accounts and showering praises for the Hon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the brave pilots of the Indian Air Force.


"12 Mirage 2000 jets took part in the operation that dropped 1000kg bombs on terror camps across LoC completely destroying them," sources from the IAF have been quoted.
