Starring Akshay Kumar, Manoj Bajpai, Anupam Kher, and Jimmy Shergill the movie was based on a true incident when a person posed as a fake CBI officer and robbed a famous jeweler at the Opera House in Mumbai. Shootout At Lokhandwala - The movie is based on one of Mumbai's most brutal shootouts which happened in 1991 and shocked the city. Led by their leader Maya Dolas, 5 gangsters retaliated against 300 policemen and were eventually killed. Once Upon A Time In Mumbai - The movie is all about the rise two smugglers/gangsters in Mumbai and is inspired from real life don Haji Mastan which is played by Ajay Devgn and Dawood Ibrahim played by Emraan Hashmi. With an engaging story-line, powerful dialogues, filmmaker Milan Lutharia successfully recreated Mumbai in the 70's which makes it one of the best crime movies of Bollywood.
