The much anticipated trailer starts in the voice of iconic narrator Kristen Bell who is seen saying, “You’ve gotten so comfortable. This mini trailer is giving huge hints of dramatic twists and turns that will be unfolding in the series with new characters like Zoya (Whitney Peak) enters the bar alone followed by Otto (Eli Brown) poses in ring light for a selfie even though her attention is divided. Then further, we see Luna (Zion Moreno) secretly comes closer for sharing a secret with Monet (Savannah Smith) followed by Akeno (Evan Mock) and Audrey (Emily Aly Lind) hugging and embracing each other which is observed by watchful gaze of Max who is (Thomas Dougherty) nearby, along with Kate (Tavi Gevinson) who is totally glued and attached to her phone which is when everyone gets the iconic Gossip Girl alert.

In an earlier interview this year with a leading global entertainment magazine, Tavi Gevinson said, “I’m really excited for people to see this reimagining because it’s still super juicy and fun, but it also is maybe a little bit more for the small weirdo that I was in the early 2010s. It’s also very clever about what that kind of privilege looks like now, when so many young people are politically active and galvanized. I’m excited for people to see it because it’s very hard to keep secrets about. I’m tired of having to speak in code about it … I think this reimagining takes its own characters to task for how they choose to wield the power they have”.
