31 year old actress Gal Gadot, who will be seen portraying the popular comic book character Wonder Woman on silver screen in July 2017 in the DC comics live-action feature film of the same name is excited for 2017. Born in Israel, Gadot was crowned Miss Israel in 2004. Having served in the Israel army as a combat instructor, she worked in the gym training and keeping the soldiers in shape.
Despite being a very old and dominant character in comics in the last 70 years, and having a TV series to its name already, this is the first time that the character of Wonder Woman is getting a silver screen standalone movie. Though the fans and critics loved her role alike in the 2016 release Batman v Superman in a supporting character, the 2017 movie will be all about her character.
While the trailer of her standalone movie is keeping the fans excited, they have another reason to rejoice as she will also feature in the upcoming Justice League movie, which will come to theatres in November 2017 co-starring Ben Affleck, Jason Momoa, Jeremy Irons, Amy Adams and Henry Cavill, which she claims, was one of the best experiences of her acting career and also as a human being.
Portraying the character of Wonder Woman also comes with its fair share of responsibilities. She has become a role model and a symbol of strength for many young girls around the world, including her five year old daughter.
