Upcoming movie 'Thugs of Hindostan' which will feature Bollywood superstars Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan together for the first time, is set to be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya (also known as Victor) who has worked with Aamir previously in Dhoom 3.
According to the latest rumours, it was reported that the 'Befikre' actress Vaani Kapoor was being considered for a role in the movie. The 28 year old actress has now clarified that she has not been approached for the movie. She was recently seen in Aditya Chopra's romantic comedy 'Befikre' alongside Ranveer Singh in which Vaani played the role of a French born Indian girl Shyra. The film released to a mixed response from the critics and failed to garner up collections.
The actress however defended her film saying she thinks it was a well made film, "Personally, deep down as a team we all loved the film. Ranveer (Singh), I, Adi, people who watched the screening before, we always got a good positive response. I feel it's a good happy film. It really confuses me when I am thinking why won't people like it," she said.
"It's a rom-com. I feel people are used to watching stories with drama and heightened dramatic conflicts, but this movie doesn't serve that...But there are also people who watched the movie twice or five times and did appreciate it," she added.
There were rumors that Vaani had opted for plastic surgery to enhance her looks, but she confronted those rumors by saying that she cannot afford to have a plastic surgery yet as she is only 2 films old.
