Twinkle Khanna Shares 24-Yr-Old Video, Said, “My Whole Life Is A Joke”

Actor-turned-author Twinkle Khanna gave everyone a dose of nostalgia on Wednesday morning by sharing a throwback video. 24 years ago, Twinkle gave us an exclusive interview on the sets of her film Joru Ka Ghulam. During the candid chat, Twinkle not only talked about the film and her co-star Govinda, but also gave us a sneak peek at her personality in real life. She revealed that she might appear to be a delicate person but, in fact, is very tough. As we shared a short clip on the Internet a few days ago, it went viral and reached Karan Johar who then shared it with Twinkle.

In the clip, Twinkle can be heard saying, “I think, in real life, I am not a very serious person. I am actually clumsy and bumbling around. I think my whole life is a joke. So, I like doing comedy.”

When asked to elaborate her statement of her whole life being a joke, Twinkle said, “I think lot of funny things happen to me. At least I look at them as very funny. So, I prefer portraying that side of me. I am not a very serious person.”

The interviewer mentioned that she actually looks like a serious person. To this, she replied, “I know. I also look like a very delicate person but I am not. I am very tough.”

Sharing this old clip, Twinkle wrote in her Instagram caption, “Some things don’t change. This was in my twenties and close to fifty, I am still not a very serious person and am tougher than I look. Also have to love the hairstyle. Like me had you also figured out you what you were really like in your twenties? Thank you @karanjohar for digging this up and making my morning.”

Fans were impressed seeing this video of Twinkle from two decades ago. A user wrote, “Awww!! Aren’t you the cutest!! You have always been my favourite star growing up! My mums too!! You just have that charm and I’ve always found you the most relatable even then and now!!”

“You are a rock star”, reads another comment.

A user pointed out, “this is OG interview by Lehren.. @twinklerkhanna mam u must mention @lehrentv for keep all the memories save and feel nostalgic everytime.”

Twinkle then added in the comment section, “thank you for pointing this out.”
