Hollywood actor Matt Damon recently revealed that he does have a very secret Instagram account. He does not have any public social media accounts. However, according to a report, he has a highly private Instagram account that he mainly uses to keep up with close friends.
“I have 76 followers and I’ve done 40 posts since 2013,” he told the Outlet.
He further added that his most recent photo was of his 15-year-old daughter Isabella holding up her middle fingers. “That’s what she’s been doing every time we take a picture of her nowadays,” he shared. Apart from his private Instagram page, Matt also said that having a big social media presence is simply not for him.
“I just never saw the point. And I feel better and better about that decision as time goes on. I understand wanting to be connected to everybody on Facebook, but my life is so full and I’m connected, really, to everybody I need to be connected to,” he added.
Talking about Twitter, he continued and expressed, “And then Twitter, I just reflexively didn’t believe that my first knee-jerk response to something was necessarily something that should go all over the world.”

Damon also opened up about his abiding friendship with Ben Affleck. He also shared some touching memories they shared on the first day of filming their 1997 movie, Good Will Hunting. Damon further revealed that both he and Ben cried that while Robin Williams and Stellan Skarsgard shot a scene together.
Recently, Good Will Hunting star was in the headlines after he said in an interview with The Sunday Times that he would only stop using f-slur after his daughter had raised an issue about him. Damon quickly backpedaled, and said, “never called anyone a f***t in his personal life.”
In a statement to Variety, Damon stated, “During a recent interview, I recalled a discussion I had with my daughter where I attempted to contextualise for her the progress that has been made — though by no means completed – since I was growing up in Boston and, as a child, heard the word ‘f-g’ used on the street before I knew what it even referred to.”
