Kirti Kulhari who made her feature film debut with Khichdi (2010) is now ready to reprise her famous role of Parminder with Khichdi 2. The actress announced the news on her Instagram by sharing a film’s new promo with a caption “Parminder is back !!” ?It’s great fun and nostalgic to be back to Khichdi and playing Parminder after all these years .Can’t wait to share this KHICHDI with you guys.? The short clip shows glimpses of Kirti’s Parminder. The actress has already started filming Khichdi 2 in Mumbai. In an interview with a leading news organisation, Kirti stated, “Khichdi 2 is finally happening and it’s going to be a hilarious ride! I have so many memories from the first film, from shooting the song Chal Chal Bhonsle Market with JD to doing all the crazy comedy scenes. I am so happy to return as Parminder in Khichdi 2 since this is where it all started for me.”
The film also stars Supriya Pathak, Rajeev Mehta, Jamnadas Majethia, Nimisha Vakharia, Anang Desai and Vandana Pathak. The Parekh family, which consists of Himanshu, Hansa, Babuji, and Praful, is central to the story.
Released in 2010, Khichdi was based on the popular sit-com of the same name. The film was a surprise hit at the box office. Kirti was also seen in medical thriller ‘Human’ which also stars Shefali Shah, is directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Mozez Singh.
