“They Look Like Boiled Eggs,” Says Kangana Ranaut About Star Kids

Kangana Ranaut takes a jibe at Bollywood star kids, and calls them "Boiled eggs".

Dhaakad actress Kangana Ranaut is known for her bold remarks and statements. From nepotism to her relationships, the actress has been very straight and clear about her views. The actress is currently gearing up for her upcoming film Dhaakad. During one of her interviews, the actress gave yet another controversial statement.

During an interview, Kangana was asked what makes South Indian cinema more successful than Bollywood. The diva replied, “The way they have a connection with their audience, it is very strong. I wouldn’t say fans, it’s much more than that. With us what happens is that their kids go abroad to complete their studies. They talk in English and watch only Hollywood films. They eat only with knives and forks and talk differently. Dekhne me bhi ajeeb se aise lagte hai jaise uble hue ande. Their entire look has changed so people cannot relate. I don’t mean to troll anyone.”

Later she added, “Look how Pushpa looks like someone we know. Every laborer is able to connect with him. Tell me which of our heroes can look like a laborer in today’s times? They cannot. So, their culture and their grounded nature are paying them off. I hope they don’t start taking inspiration from the West. It’s important to stay connected to people within your country,”.

In a recent interview, the actress called out actors Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn for not supporting her film. During an interview, she said, “But Ajay Devgn will never promote my film. He will promote other films but will never promote my film. Akshay Kumar called me, quietly, to tell me ‘hush-hush’ that you know, I love your Thalaivi, but he will not tweet my trailer.”

The film Dhaakad stars Kangana along with Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta and is all set to hit the theatres on 20 May. The action thriller film is directed by Razneesh Ghai.
