John Abraham Accused Of Stealing The Script Of ‘Attack’

A man named Vicky Sharma has claimed that John Abraham copied his script and made 'Attack'. Know the details.

After delivering the action film Satyamev Jayate 2, actor John Abraham is gearing up for the high octane sci-fi action thriller titled ‘Attack’. Apart from John Abraham, the film stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Rakul Preet Singh. Interestingly, John Abraham has also drafted the film’s storyline.

However, a man named Vicky Sharma has accused John Abraham of stealing his script. Vicky, who lives in Mumbai is an Executive Producer for Films, Web series and Advertisements. After watching the trailer of John Abraham’s upcoming film ‘Attack, Vicky took to his Facebook and wrote, “Really disappointed today as John Abraham stole my film story and made Attack out of it with a few changes. Still some scenes are exactly the same which I wrote like the missile flying in the air, bomb explosion along with the concept of saving the world and not just the nation. I sent this story to him in 2014 and his manager Minaakshii Das took the story from me. The strange thing about his film Attack is, it’s written by John only. He read my story with graphics and put a lot of scenes in his film exactly the way I wrote. Why do these people steal? They already have everything fame and money then why don’t they let people like us grow?”

Really disappointed today as John Abraham stole my film story and made Attack out of it with a few changes. Still some…

In another Facebook post, he mentioned, “I’ve just seen 1:50 secs Teaser, I could see 3 of my scenes and 2 situations copied. He is a Chor. The amazing thing is he has never written any story of his film before this but this one he wrote himself after reading mine. 5 years they didn’t reply and in 2021 they replied by saying they are working on the same concept so can’t do mine.”

This is when I sent my story to John Abraham and his production house in 2016 and this is what they replied this year…

Vicky Sharma also posted the screenshots of his email conversations with John Abraham’s manager Minaakshii Das.

When asked if he copyrighted his script before sharing it with John Abraham’s team, he said, “Yes, It’s copyright but he has made a few changes in the story. Most of the scenes are still very similar to what I sent to him.”

However, he has not yet filed an official complaint yet. Meanwhile, we now await a response from John Abraham on these plagiarism accusations.

Attack will hit the theatres on 28 January 2022.
